Incidents
that took place before and at the birth of Holy Prophet PBUH
A group of men from Makkah met a monk on their way to Syria. Four among that group had interest in the knowledge that the monk had, so they stopped for having conversation with him. When they monk knew that these four men are from Makkah he informed them that Allah will soon send a prophet to Makkah. All the four men wished and prayed that the promised prophet be his son.
An astrologer women when
met Hazrat Abdullah (father of Prophet Muhammad PBUH) she noticed the noor
(light) in his forehead and proposed him for marriage so that she could be the
mother of the promised prophet but it was in the destiny of Hazrat Amina Radi
Allah Anha to be mother of the Holy Prophet.
Hazrat Abdul Muttalib (grandfather of Holy Prophet) was asleep in Kaaba. He
dreamt that a tree is growing; it has branches that are reaching East and West.
There appears a light on the tree; and the tree is getting brighter and higher.
All the people were bowing to the tree. Then he saw people from his tribe
getting hold of the branches and some of them tried to cut it down but those
people were stopped by a handsome young man. When Abdul Muttalib woke up he
went to a scholar and asked about what his dream meant. That scholar replied
that your dream means that one of your sons will control East and West and
people will follow him. Abdul Mutalib was pleased with the dream.
Hazrat Bibi Amina, the blessed mother of the Beloved Prophet
(Sallallahu alehe Wasalam) during her pregnancy informed the household members
that she was often being visited by angels and previous prophets who announced
that the child in her womb was Muhammad, the Promised Prophet, through whom the
world would be blessed.
At the time of birth Hazrat Bibi Amina (Radi Allahu Anha) saw
angels coming down for the adoration of the new born baby. Three angels went
towards the Kaabah. One angel placed a flag over the Kaabah, another went to the
East and placed a flag and the third went to the West and placed a flag. A
light then spread out lighting up the universe. In this miraculous light,
Hazrat Bibi Amina (Radi Allahu Anha) stated that she could see distinctly
the palaces of Palestine and Syria. SubhaanAllah! (AhsanulMuwa’iz, pg 18-19)
Then four ladies appeared miraculously before Hazrat Bibi Amina
(Radi Allahu Anha) to attend to the birth of the Holy Prophet
(Sallallahu AlaihiWasallam). The first, who was very tall, said she was Hazrat Bibi
Hawa (Radi Allahu Anha), the mother of mankind. The second was Hazrat Bibi
Sarah (Radi Allahu Anha), the mother of Hazrat Ishaaq (Alaihis Salaam), the
third was Hazrat Bibi Hajira (Radi Allahu Anha), the mother of Hazrat Ismail
(Alaihis Salaam) and she came with Otto, a sweet-smelling essence from heaven
to express her love for this child. The fourth person was Hazrat Asiya (Radi Allahu
Anha), the wife of Pharaoh. In the hands of these four great nurses was the
Mercy for all the worlds, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)
born, with his foreskin already circumcised miraculously, his navel already
separated miraculously from his mother’s body, and his body was without any
kind of impurity (Tafrihul Askia Fil Ahwalul Ambia, vol 2, pg 10-13)
There were a number of people at the Kaabah at the time
of the birth of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasalam) when all the idols
fell in prostration. Some of the people picked up and erected the fallen idols
but the idols again fell down on their faces. They propped them up again but
the idols collapsed for the third time. One of the persons, Osman bin Habiras
said to his companions that something very serious must have happened, causing
the idols to fall repeatedly. These idols remained in prostration on the floor
for a full day. Any effort to pick them up and to erect them proved futile.
Number of incidents happened all
over the world which includes quenching of fire in the Magi Temple of the
Zoroastrians which had been alight for thousands of years. Fourteen towers of the royal palace of
Nausherwan, the Emperor of Persia, broke and fell. The famous stone, on which
the fabulous throne of Persia was kept, cracked. The deep and fast flowing
river Sawa in the Persian Empire dried up instantly. The river Samawa in the
Persian Empire which had been dry for the past thousand years or more started
flowing immediately. The tower of the palace on the River Tigris, which was
built so strongly that nothing could damage it for hundreds of years, broke and
fell to the amazement of all, without any logical reason. These were some of the incidents that indicated the arrival of the promised Prophet PBUH.
